The Concept Kizashi 3 in New York offers a real look at how Suzuki plans to expand U.S. sales via a high-performance sport sedan.
Obviously the closest to production of the Concept Kizashi series that was developed by Suzuki’s Advanced Design Group, each of the concepts is designed to reflect a dynamic athlete in motion.
The first Concept Kizashi took the form of a sport wagon with exaggerated dimensions, generating a lot of attention at the Frankfurt show. The design evolved with Concept Kizashi 2 in Tokyo, a crossover sport wagon that added all-road capability with raised ground clearance and all-wheel drive.
The bold styling of the first two in the series continues with Concept Kizashi 3, which has been refined to reflect the realities of a production vehicle. Due in 2010 as the brand’s flagship, Kizashi’s front fascia has a prominent chrome grille with sharply styled headlights that flow back into bulging fenders. Finished in silver, the Kizashi 3’s wide track and athletic stance are secured by 21-inch chrome wheels.
Illustrated by Suzuki as a mixing between functionality and refinement, Concept Kizashi 3 is powered by a 300-horsepower naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6 engine with plated cylinders, a technology developed by Suzuki’s motorcycle and WRC teams that saves weight and space. The all-wheel-drive configuration continues from Kizashi 2, utilizing Suzuki’s advanced i-AWD system combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission and paddle shifters for manual control.

Simply TIX Led Clock

Patterns can be found everywhere in life. In our DNA, in cloud formations, during a chess game, in your code, in your deviant behaviors, and even in your bottle of Bawls. Patterns give us clues. Clues give us information. Information makes the world a happier place (not necessarily a safer happier place though). In the case of the Tix clock, the patterns can give you the time.
Millions of patterns are possible with the futuristic-looking Tix clock, yet the clock is extremely simple to read once you grasp the basic concept. The four seperate fields act like the four digits of a digital clock. The value of each digit is simply the number of illuminated squares in each field. So any given time of the day may have thousands of different ways of displaying the time. The clocks in the image are displaying the time 12:34. It’s that easy! Of course your friends are just going to take a look at your Tix clock and think it’s just modern LED art. Dullards.
Touchy Camera by Panasonic

Many people don’t know about Panasonic’s Lumix DMC-FX500. Panasonic made this model very instinctive with features novices and experts can appreciate. Many beginners are not familiar with their camera’s settings, because let’s face it, not everyone reads the manual or takes special photography classes.
Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FX500 has 3-inch touch screen on the back that permit users to speedily change the settings depending on the condition. For example, by selecting a person on the touchscreen, you activate the auto focus lock feature on the camera that keeps the subject in focus no matter what they do, so you don’t have to worry about readjusting the camera every time. This is great for people who often take photos of moving subjects that won’t keep still, like fidgety children or pets.
You can also tap on a subject and let the camera choose the right mode depending on the subject’s position with using the touch panel. By touching a person’s face, the camera switches to portrait mode or to macro if you want a close-up of a flower instead. Zooming in or out of a photo in playback mode is also possibly by moving sliders left or right on the touch screen.
The additional nice about the 10-megapixel LUMIX DMC-FX500 is it can record video in high-definition at 720p, and take still images in a 16:9 aspect ratio that can be viewed in a widescreen television. Other features include image-stabilization, face detection, automated scene-detection, a 25mm wide-angle lens, and 5X optical zoom.
New Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4

Lamborghini once again sets a higher standard for super sports cars with the new Gallardo LP560-4. With its new engine, permanent four-wheel drive transmission and new suspension, it delivers clearly improved performance and dynamics. In parallel, its innovative design takes the classic lines unique to the Lamborghini brand one step further. Powerful sophistication has never been so defined before.
The Gallardo LP560-4 is the successor of the most successful Lamborghini model of all time. About 7100 Gallardo models have left the Sant’Agata Bolognese production plant since its launch in 2003. ‘The LP560-4 will consolidate this success story,’ states Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. ‘It will outclass its predecessor in every aspect; its dynamics are distinctly breathtaking and its design sets new standards. With the introduction of the Gallardo LP560-4, we will consistently continue Lamborghini’s growth strategy’.

The powerful heart of the Gallardo LP560-4 is the new 5.2 litre V10 engine with an output of 560 PS (412 kW) at 8000 rpm. The increase of 40 PS compared with that of the previous Gallardo, and the approximate 20 kilogram reduction in weight, improves the power weight ratio to 2.5 kilograms per PS (hp) and thus enhances performance. The LP560-4 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, its speed at 11.8 seconds is 200 km/h and its top speed lies at 325 km/h. At the same time the new, highly efficient engine enthrals its driver with its direct fuel injection system - ‘Iniezione Diretta Stratificata’. Despite its clearly increased power, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have been reduced by a staggering 18 per cent.
